2nd run tonight, after the first one last week where my max HR was way up, was better. Easier, and the max HR on the last few harder intervals was about 8-10 less than last week. Fitness certainly returns quick enough after body abuse. When I see no more decent gains, I’ll make the intervals longer, and up the mileage. for now, this is a nice, perceptible improvement.
