First Aid Notes - finally summarised!
My handwriting sucks, so only getting round now to summarising my 1st aid notes, a few months after the course. :) Think I need to summarise further, following the St. John’s First Aid Manual….

I suppose the being down nearly 4lbs in a week is good, if I could do half that this week, game back on!
3.5 lbs down. WTF?
For reasons I won’t go into, been having a shitty time.
Was honestly expecting to be 264 lbs or so this morning, and am 257.4 instead. Don’t really understand it, diet has been shit, been biking or bussing instead of walking, only been doing minimal walking, no weights.
Had an Easter Egg yesterday with two creme eggs too!

Terrible. 6.5lbs UP.
Have went from 254.4 to 260.9lbs in 3 weeks.
Never actually got around to my huge monthly food shop, had stopped preparing food properly, started cycling to work instead of walking, but mostly, the quality of my food suffered hugely. Replaced omega-3-enriched eggs, chicken, fruit, veggies, with processed crap - cheap sausage rolls mostly. And bread. Bread is a no-no on a healthy paleo diet,...

LOST 1.8lbs this week, 9lbs this month, 75lbs...
Also 57 miles mostly walking in last week (tiny amount of running) for a total of 353 miles so far this year. Starting to up the miles a little on average…. Bizarrely though, the chest/hip/thigh/waist measurement don’t show a LOT of change, despite throwing two pairs of trousers out and being able to fit in two other pair, and shifting a couple of belt holes too. DOWN 3.5 lbs this week, 74bs loss TOTAL. #W8Lab50...
And had to throw out two pairs of trousers and delve into my collection of “no-longer-fit-me” clothes to find two pairs that now do!
Also 65miles walking this week (with a tiny bit of #BarefootRunning in there too.)
Off to shop for cakes and chocolates, it’s carb up time for this low carber!

I *knew* I could redress last weeks silly weight-gain! Even though my lovely work colleagues provided many cakes and buns and chocs and sweets on my birthday. :)
Being MOSTLY paleo diet-wise is helping greatly - also started barefoot running with Couch to-5K yesterday… hopefully get injured less! My new FitBit is working great, after I finally worked out how to calibrate it, so hopefully...

Got my FitBit today, another gadget to keep me right - bit of an easier way to track mileage and number of steps. Had no fun calibrating it at all, had to walk the same 0.7 mile loop 5 times! all sorted now….
Also started C25K, barefoot this time - I hear good things about barefoot running… we’ll see how that goes. Damn treadmill gets hot underfoot….

For a variety of reasons/excuses (mostly gone now) I’ve tkaen the eye off the ball walking and foodwise, and end up hugely UP! To think my diet and lifestyle was liek this 24/7 before….any wonder I got up to 330lbs….
Anyhow will do a long walk later, and a healthy food shop. Back in control…

2.7 lbs DOWN this week, 11lbs DOWN this month,...
Also this month I’ve taken 2” off my chest, 2” off my ass and 2.5” off my waist. AND my resting heart rate is down TWENTY to 62bpm.
Now, I’m basically at my weight/heart rate/measurement stats that I was at last May 2011. So I’ve just rewound 7 months of neglect in less than a month. Over 150miles of walking has clearly helped, but I put this down to Paleo...

Great Cholesterol results for a fatty!
TOTAL Cholesterol - 151 mg/dl (<200 is good, >240 is high risk.)
HDL - 39 mg/dl (getting that up to 40 would be best, or higher, work to do!)
LDL - 101 mg/dl (right on the edge of fantastic - reduced chance of atherosclerosis, heart attack, stroke. >160 is high.)

Completed week one of Couch to 5K, not bad! Also did 8.1 slow miles on the treadmill - knee doesn’t allow me to walk very fast currently! Most miles overall though since started… Finally, I’ve bumped up the yearly target from 2400miles to a round 2500. EDIT: I’d worked out the total miles wrong, it’s not 39.75, it’s 41.4. rocking….
